We offer competitive compensation and quarterly incentives.******Day shift Operations hours Monday - Friday*****The plant Production Supervisoris responsible for managing employees, following quality standards, overseeing the operation, and ensuring company processes and procedures are followed.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a Plant Manager:Monitors FlexXray s compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Notify Plant Manager of non-compliant practices.Manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray s Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) on a daily basis. Recommend updating the Plant Manager.Manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program on a daily basis. Recommend updates to the Plant Manager.Monitor x-ray and dud detection line compliance with FlexXray s SSOP and HACCP programs. Coordinate corrective action with the Inspection Line Leads. Brief Plant Manager on corrective action taken and document.Review inspection reports for quality and conformance to FlexXray s procedures
Turn reports into the front office daily
Recommend change(s) to the Plant Manager.Review inspection line seed logs for quality and conformance to FlexXray s procedures. Turn reports into the front office daily. Recommend change(s) to Plant Manager.Monitor the secure storage of site-approved cleaning products. Ensure Materiel Safety Data (MSD) sheets are posted for each approved product.Monitors the effectiveness of FlexXray s Pest Management Program and coordinates service needs with the Plant Manager.Implement a
Deep Cleaning
schedule for the warehouse perimeter, inspection equipment, forklift, trailers, yard mule, ceiling, fixtures, etc., as outlined in the FlexXray master cleaning schedule.ConductSSOP and GMP New Hire and Annual Training for X-ray Operators, Line Leads, and Forklift Operators. Maintain training forms and logs. Fill-in
on the inspection line as needed.Responsible for creating
Master Folder
and
Project Folder
once the truck is scheduled/arrives at our facilities.Coordinates with Warehouse Admin to monitor a project s progress and ensure it is appropriately handled.Plans, schedules, and monitors all work being performed.Provides immediate performance feedback as required to resolve employee conflicts and assists in short-term resolution of emergencies such as safety, attendance, and conduct.Makes sure outbound products are acceptable for shipping.Responsible for filling in and assisting other locations and shifts as needed.Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise3-5 years of proven experience as a production supervisor (Food industry) is preferred but not required.Knowledge of a regulated manufacturing environment ("Good Manufacturing Practices").Good communication skills coupled with good negotiation, planning, scheduling, and people management ability.Must be flexible to switch shifts as needed to cover for other supervisors.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Bilingual English/SpanishKnowledge with 5s methodology.Benefits401(k) matchingDental InsuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPotential for bonusesVision insurance
