Our Falls Church, VA office is seeking a Financial Advisor to collaborate within an advisory team, guiding clients towards achieving their financial aspirations while delivering exceptional client service. Our team members work cohesively to fulfill company objectives related to customer service quality, client retention, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and support senior advisors in handling complex client portfolios according to WEG's planning-based standards.
  • Facilitate the financial planning journey for clients.
  • Identify and understand a prospect or client's values, goals, and objectives.
  • Engage clients in the financial planning process effectively.
  • Conduct annual reviews encompassing both planning and investment discussions.
Client Acquisition and Management
  • Proactively follow up with clients who have not yet implemented their financial plans.
  • Convert leads generated through various WEG channels (Marketing, CRP, etc.).
  • Leverage your network to create new opportunities.
  • Encourage referrals from existing clients.
Client Service and Support
  • Assist the Financial Advisor during client meetings and follow-up activities.
  • Document meeting notes and promptly enter them into the CRM system.
  • Present financial strategies or plans to clients alongside the Financial Advisor.
  • Meet with clients to gather additional planning information or clarify existing details.
  • Analyze clients' current investment portfolios and insurance policies.
  • Manage trades and oversee account activities.
Professional Development
Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group's training sessions, educational events, and coaching programs while becoming proficient in advisor/client-facing technology.

Adhere to Wealth Enhancement Group's Corporate Communication Strategy and maintain compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • A 4-year degree is required; degrees in business, finance, or economics are preferred.
  • Advanced designations such as CFP, CPA, or MBA are preferred.
  • Series 65 (RIA Only) is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the wealth management sector is necessary.
  • Proven ability to source and convert prospects into clients while delivering high-level planning-oriented service.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Engagement in WEG, the broader community, and active participation in the financial planning community is encouraged.
