Veterinary Staff Services Supervisor

Animal Dermatology Group (ADG) stands as the premier veterinary dermatology organization in the U.S., dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty care for pets suffering from both acute and chronic skin ailments.
With a robust team of over 80 doctors, ADG is committed to excellence in clinical practice, research, and education within the veterinary field.
In addition to offering specialized dermatological care to patients and assisting general practice veterinarians in our service areas, ADG is actively involved in drug and product development as well as clinical trials.
ADG proudly hosts the largest dermatology residency program accredited by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, fostering the education of future dermatologists.
The Practice Supervisor is integral to managing administrative and leadership functions while also engaging in the daily operations of the practice.
This role encompasses approximately 40% of administrative and leadership duties, alongside a 60% focus on direct patient and client support.
Staff Management:
Oversee the technician and front desk personnel.
Facilitate scheduling, training, and professional development for technicians and receptionists.
Manage all aspects of personnel administration, including recruitment, performance assessments, salary reviews, and disciplinary measures.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Support technical staff in various patient care activities, including nursing, anesthesia, skin testing, surgical procedures, laboratory tasks, and pharmacy operations.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain comprehensive and precise patient medical and surgical records.Front Office Management:
Supervise appointment scheduling, ensuring accurate service type bookings and the inclusion of all essential information.
Work in partnership with Doctors and Regional Operations Managers to address client concerns.
Establish and uphold a system for chart retrieval, skin test authorization forms, laboratory procedures, surgical records, euthanasia documentation, callbacks, client cards, and filing, ensuring compliance among staff.
Financial Management:
Collaborate with Regional leadership to interpret income statements and financial data, executing prescribed financial management strategies.
Partner with Regional Leadership to devise and implement marketing initiatives within the RDVM community.
Ensure clinic staff effectively utilize marketing resources and apply authorized discounts.
Facilities Management:
Ensure the clinic's cleanliness and maintenance, coordinating cleaning schedules with the Technician Lead and front desk staff.
Address any building or facility issues promptly in collaboration with Operations.Adhere to established maintenance schedules for all hospital machinery and equipment.
Full-time employees are entitled to paid vacation and holidays, monthly bonuses based on clinic dietary sales, and various medical benefits including dental, vision, dependent care FSA, and short-term disability options.
Some travel may be necessary.
