Position Overview

Company: Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care

Shift: Flexible Scheduling (12-hour, 10-hour, or 7-hour shifts) available for Days, Swing, or Nights

Role: Entry-Level Registered Veterinary Technician (Hourly wage ranging from $20 to $26 based on experience)

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience; time spent in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program will also be considered
  • Preferred: Registered, Licensed, or Certified Veterinary Technician/Assistant (RVT, LVT, CVT/CVA)
  • Preferred: Experience in Emergency, ICU, or General Practice settings
  • Skills in the following areas are advantageous: Venipuncture, Restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Vital Signs Assessment, Medical Record Keeping, Intubation/Extubation, Anesthesia Monitoring, Minor Drug Calculations, Dentistry, Radiography, Post-Surgical Care, Fecal Flotation and Interpretation
