Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Operations Leader, you will be instrumental in collaborating with suppliers to enhance operational efficiency. Your analytical approach will facilitate effective planning, scheduling, and oversight of material flow within our dynamic global production environment.

You will assess and monitor supplier performance to mitigate risks, driving ongoing improvements in supplier processes to bolster Lam's productivity and operational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Represent the Supply Chain on cross-functional teams alongside Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality Engineers.
  • Establish and track metrics aligned with annual operating plan objectives concerning supplier performance, ensuring continuous enhancement.
  • Define metrics and assess supplier performance against established benchmarks to guarantee ongoing supplier improvement and sustainability.
  • Regularly review performance metrics and evaluate risks associated with supplier selection.
  • Drive continuous process improvements by implementing best practices related to procurement and inventory management strategies.
  • Motivate suppliers to enhance their manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Set goals with suppliers to ensure material delivery aligns with forecasted demand.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • At least five years of experience in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry, collaborating with global suppliers.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor technologies and high-tech supply chain management practices.
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with various organizational levels.
  • A solid understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes.
  • A results-driven mindset with strong interpersonal skills focused on customer support.
