Job Title: IT Chief Data Scientist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in data science and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
  • 6 years of relevant project experience in successfully launching, planning, and executing data science projects
  • 2+ years of business experience, ideally in business management at or above mid-management level
  • Proven experience in conducting statistical analysis and building models with advanced scripting languages
  • Specialization in text analytics, image recognition, graph analysis, or other specialized ML techniques, such as deep learning
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages and statistical analysis tools such as Python, C++, JavaScript, R, SAS, Excel, SQL, MATLAB, SPSS
Working Conditions:

This role will be performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), and extensive personal computer usage. This position may require travel.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate
  • Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results
