Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
  • Oversee, mentor, and assess the performance of the accounts receivable team.
  • Assign tasks and ensure the timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities.
  1. Collection Strategies:
  • Formulate and execute effective strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
  • Deliver monthly account statements to clients.
  • Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  1. Client Relations:
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients while ensuring timely payments.
  1. Reporting and Insights:
  • Generate regular reports detailing accounts receivable status, including aging analysis and cash flow forecasts.
  • Examine trends and provide insights to enhance collections and minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Design and implement procedures to optimize accounts receivable operations.
  • Offer constructive feedback for billing and operational enhancements.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work in tandem with the operations team to reconcile accounts and address discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the sales department to resolve customer credit and billing concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a comparable financial role.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and complex accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
