Position Overview

The Ladders is seeking a Senior Operations Financial Analyst to enhance our financial operations. This role is essential in delivering insights that drive our operational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Cost Center Variance Analysis (Budget vs. Actual) for various operational departments, facilitating discussions with leadership to evaluate performance.
  • Execute monthly financial analyses, including accruals and reconciliations for commissions, royalties, and warranty expenses.
  • Perform detailed analysis related to warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing as part of our Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs).
  • Develop logistics and inventory analytics aimed at refining processes and enhancing EBITDA.
  • Oversee the review and closure of labor variance analysis for completed production tasks to effectively manage Work In Progress (WIP) accounts.
  • Support the Operations Finance Manager in the Annual Standard Cost Roll.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Finance Manager and leadership during the Annual Budget Process.
  • Assist in managing the CAPEX Approval Process by engaging with business leaders and evaluating CAPEX Requests.
  • Track and report on cost reduction initiatives for value improvement projects.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as needed to support decision-making.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in finance and cost accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, inventory management, and operational processes is crucial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, Epicor, and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage effectively with various organizational levels and remote teams is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
