About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Developer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of medium- to large-scale projects, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers, to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot business and production issues, gathering information, engaging support teams, and formulating action plans to resolve issues.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects, partnering with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams to obtain cross-functional approvals.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in software development, applying this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
  • Business Acumen: Provide and support the implementation of business solutions, building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and determining necessary processes and practices.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Model compliance with company policies, procedures, and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in react & node application development.
  • Skills: Strong Java, Spring boot, UI: JavaScript, Node, Typescript, Microservices, DS and Algorithm basics, Micro frontend architecture implementation, Knowledge of Cloud, SQL, CI/CD.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead our technical relationship with partners and mentors a team of developers, Approaches risks head-on with options to mitigate.
