Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Daily Activities: Oversee daily operations within assigned distribution centers, ensuring efficient communication, logistics support, and risk management.
- Monitor Performance: Analyze daily reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure stability of distribution center performance.
- Provide Feedback and Direction: Offer guidance to 3PL providers to enhance warehouse efficiencies and improve overall operations.
- Report Performance: Provide regular updates to the operations group on distribution performance, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee 3PL providers to ensure operations align with KMC's operational policies.
- Manage Returns: Oversee the returns process for all inbound dealer, distributor, internal issue, and employee returns, reconciling any discrepancies.
- Coordinate Out-of-Scope Activities: Coordinate all out-of-scope operational activities with distribution centers.
- Manage Warehouse Supply: Coordinate warehouse supply needs with distribution centers, track usage, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Communicate Load Projections: Communicate inbound load projections and work with PDC to reconcile receipts not in transit.
- Monitor Item Suspensions: Monitor and audit item suspensions to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Monitor Cycle Count Discrepancies: Monitor and audit cycle count discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Process Freight Claims: Initiate and process freight claims to resolve any issues.
- Process Freight Call Tags: Initiate and process freight call tags to ensure efficient logistics.
- Coordinate Recycled Parts Bin Returns: Coordinate recycled parts bin returns and processing.
- Represent KMC: Represent Kawasaki's Distribution Operation department and provide quality customer service to dealers, distributors, and internal departments.
- Handle Communication: Handle direct communication from dealers, distributors, and internal departments regarding missing and replacement accessory components and hardware.
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred, along with a minimum of five years related experience and/or training in distribution operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
