Job Summary:
St. Luke's Health System seeks an Applications Analyst to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed electronic pharmacy systems. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in Pharmacy or relevant experience, and be a licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and modify data systems.
  • Resolve system-related problems through research and communication with user department personnel and vendor personnel.
  • Analyze reports in relation to system capabilities.
  • Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions.
  • Prepare detailed program specifications and requirements, identify required inputs, participate in the design, development, and testing of systems.
  • Follow department procedures regarding request tracking, documentation, and change control.
  • Oversee and implement sound system or device testing strategies, and oversee the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Pharmacy or experience in lieu of Doctorate.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice.
