Position Summary

This is a full-time hybrid opportunity for a Finance Operations Manager at United Biomedical, Inc. The role encompasses a variety of essential financial responsibilities, including but not limited to managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and general administrative tasks. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously to meet deadlines. Remote work options may be available following the probationary period. The hybrid role is primarily based in Cold Spring Harbor, NY or Dallas, Texas, with a competitive salary of up to $120,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting financial transactions.
  2. Generate financial statements, reports, and budgets regularly.
  3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  4. Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  5. Facilitate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  6. Prepare tax documentation and collaborate with external CPA firms for filings.
  7. Assist in payroll processing and related tax submissions.
  8. Monitor cash flow and develop cash forecasts.
  9. Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and records.
  10. Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation as required.
Qualifications:
  1. Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  2. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  5. Capability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
