Your Role:
We are looking for an Electronics Technician who will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our electronic systems. This position involves the disassembly, repair, modification, and installation of a variety of electronic components, including communication and navigation equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, soldering, connecting, and inter-wiring electronic parts, as well as conducting maintenance, alignment, configuration, and testing of systems. Adherence to engineering schematics, safety protocols, and technical manuals is essential for successful task completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to adapt to evolving technical mission requirements is essential.
- Experience in the discreet integration of electronics into diverse configurations, including design, assembly (both electronic and mechanical), programming, and operational testing of firmware and hardware.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in digital microwave, cellular, and internet protocol data transmission technologies.
- Capable of assembling prototype and operational systems from circuit boards and individual components, while modifying existing hardware based on limited design documentation.
- Able to perform technical tasks in challenging environments and conditions, often under tight deadlines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a Top Secret Clearance and the ability to successfully complete a Counter Intelligence polygraph examination.
- An Associate degree or equivalent experience, along with 2-10+ years of hands-on experience in the removal, repair, modification, servicing, and installation of various electronic components, including communication and navigation systems.
