  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and register guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Room Assignments and Maintenance: Assign rooms to guests, ensuring all rooms are clean and ready for occupancy, and address any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Guest Services and Support: Provide assistance with guest requests, resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, and offer recommendations for local attractions and services.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions: Manage cash drawer contents, process transactions accurately, and maintain a high level of integrity when handling guest funds.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Respond to phone calls, take messages, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; bilingual skills a plus.
  • Math and Reasoning Skills: Basic math skills and ability to apply common sense to solve problems.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer systems and software used in a hotel environment.
Working Conditions

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions, and may be required to work in high, precarious places. The noise level is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The Front Desk Agent will be required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
