Job Summary

SCA Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe procedures are carried out in the delivery of cardiac services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility's policies & procedures.
  • Assist physicians with cardiac, vascular, and IR procedures, scrubbing and monitoring patients as needed.
  • Perform hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, aseptic technique, and CVL scrub procedures.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment, and medications are assembled prior to the start of the procedure.
  • Combine knowledge of human anatomy, cardiovascular procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate the physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain radiation safety at all times in accordance with radiation safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote a safe environment and take appropriate action in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiological technology or certified RCIS program, AS or BS degree preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • ARRT or RCIS Certification required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of cardiac cath lab experience.

The Cardiovascular Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $16.54-$29.90 per hour, depending on experience.
