Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to support the Masters Capstone program in the School of Data Science. As a Capstone Assistant, you will play a crucial role in sourcing projects, managing applications, and coordinating with sponsors and mentors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform research on companies and organizations in the Commonwealth of Virginia to identify potential capstone sponsors
Manage a database of capstone applications, categorize, and forward to mentors for review
Schedule information sessions and meetings for prospective sponsors
Coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Programs regarding data use agreements and internal signatures
Schedule and coordinate sponsor open house events and student matching process
Track expenses for ongoing projects and produce budget reports

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Comfortable learning new systems
Two years of experience
