POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Software Application Engineer II is responsible for designing, coding, testing, documenting, and maintaining software applications that align with our client's operational requirements, following the established Software Development Life Cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with clients, subject matter experts, team members, and other internal technical groups to create, develop, and sustain intricate applications that cater to market demands and internal corporate objectives.
  • Utilize toolsets that conform to the frameworks of the technical stack employed across the Application Services division, ensuring compliance with the organization's architectural standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in Ansible and bash scripting, with the ability to automate tasks using these technologies.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins for automated RPM builds.
  • Solid understanding of Linux environments.
  • Adoption of a "DevSecOps" development approach.
  • Programming Languages and Technologies:
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • React
    • SpringBoot
    • Node.js
    • Kubernetes and Containers
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Experience in Azure Cloud Development.
    • Familiarity with CrafterCMS 4.x.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience of 5+ years in software development.

COMPENSATION:

$60 per hour
