About the Role

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Substation Engineer - P&C to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-voltage substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-voltage substation projects, including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, potential and current schematics, control schematics, alarm schematics, and communications schematics.
  • Develop protection and control specifications, as well as I/O mapping and points mapping.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project milestones and expectations are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • EIT Certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years related work experience in the field of high-voltage substation design P&C.
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation.
  • Strong familiarity with the NEC and National Electrical Safety Code.
