At Kingsmill Resort, we're seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to join our team. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for helping future guests plan their vacations by providing information about our resort's amenities and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enter new reservations, changes, and cancellations into our computer system.
- Promote a positive guest experience by suggesting itineraries and offering other opportunities for our guests to enjoy.
- File guest correspondence and other reservation documentation as needed.
- Follow our Reservations Calls Standards for NAVIS shop calls with honesty and respect.
- Coverage and execution of Front Desk duties as needed.
- Generate outbound call revenue.
- Assist the Reservations Manager with groups, training new team members, and answering PBX telephone lines as needed.
- Follow all policy, procedures, and service standards.
- Ability to converse coherently in English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1-2 years of guest service/customer service experience required.
- Ability to deal with callers tactfully.
- Ability to use basic computer applications.
- Basic keyboarding proficiency.
- Ability to interact with diverse peoples and help resolve any issues.
- Ability to retain information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
