Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement artificial lift systems for new wells and conversions.
  • Develop and evaluate cost reduction, reliability, and debottlenecking projects to improve well performance.
  • Work closely with vendors and ESP SMEs to select and execute appropriate ESP systems for wells.
  • Identify and mitigate well integrity issues, considering cost and risk profiles.
  • Develop and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders, including asset function members and operations teams.
  • Coordinate and facilitate asset performance reviews to drive business success.
  • Identify and progress proactive/discretionary production uplift opportunities, such as artificial lift optimizations and recompletions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a competitive four-year college or university.
  • 6+ years of experience in production engineering and production operations with energy companies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and E&P computer applications, including Wellview, Cygnet, Spotfire, OFM, Foresite, Wellflo, Prosper, and Rodstar.
  • High-level production engineering expertise in completions, recompletions, workovers, artificial lift design, nodal analysis, secondary recovery, and EOR.
  • Proven track record of financial performance and responsibility, with experience in budget and schedule planning, AFE preparation, and economic evaluation.
