Speech Language Pathologist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team as a PRN (as-needed) therapist. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to homebound patients with speech and language disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop plans of care for patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services, including instruction and guidance for patients and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in speech therapy, with a focus on working with patients with speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
