School Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Independence, Oregon. This full-time contract will span the entire school year, providing comprehensive support and speech therapy services to students in grades K-12.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language therapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
  • Provide consultations and advice on speech and language development.
  • Participate in professional development to stay updated with the latest in speech therapy practices.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering engaging and effective interactions.
