We're seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our Healthcare Practice Team, working in a practice designed from the ground up by veterinarians, equipped with advanced equipment and purpose-built technology.

As a clinical team member, you'll empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience, develop a rapport with clients, and perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures with the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience.
  • Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures with the highest quality care.
  • Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pet's condition; generate and present a treatment plan for the pet to the client.
  • Stay up to date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attend continuing education meetings.
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
  • Positively represent the clinic in the professional community and to the public.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD) or equivalent is required.
  • Active State license in good standing, DEA license and other state credentials as required.
  • 3 years' experience in general medicine and surgery; residency or internship trained.
  • The ability to multi-task with a high degree of integrity and accountability.
  • Have exemplary listening and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Standing or walking up to 80% per shift.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently lift up to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
