Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality care for our patients while maximizing clinic productivity
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations and handle animals before, during, and after procedures
  • Perform diagnostic imaging, clean and sterilize equipment, and maintain medical charts
  • Communicate diagnoses to pet parents and perform additional functions as a qualified technician
Requirements:
  • At least six months of prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
  • Veterinary Technician licensure (RVT, LVT, CVT) preferred
  • Lab, medical records, and SOAP knowledge
  • Ability to read fecal floats, ear/skin cytology, and work with in-house hematology and chemistry equipment
  • Knowledge of basic canine/feline vaccines and vital signs
  • Skilled in phlebotomy, dental prophylaxis, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong verbal and written communication skills
