Customer Service Representative

Fortune Brands is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers, serving as a single point of contact for key customer representatives and outside sales team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point-of-contact for internal and external customer inquiries via phone, in-person, and/or email, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • Leverage technology and key reporting tools to monitor customer orders from entry to production and shipping.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding unit requirements, prices, anticipated shipping dates, and anticipated delays prior to ship dates, and any additional information required.
  • Strive to develop and maintain an expert knowledge of Fiberon product, channel, and sales strategy.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and constantly look for improvement opportunities in work processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Oracle (or similar) ERP/Order Management System.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
  • Ability to solve problems and alleviate conflicts or escalate tactfully.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize.
