We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Windows Server Administrator to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level Windows Server and Active Directory environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high availability production environments
  • Manage and support Windows, Unix/Linux, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Monitor system performance and availability
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design technical solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience required
  • Experience in healthcare IT, preferred
  • MCSE - Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Technologies including enterprise Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, administration automation, and policy management
  • Proficiency with scripting to effectively automate tasks and processes using platforms and programming languages such as PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Python, Terraform, and Ansible
  • Understanding of network technologies such as firewalls, proxies, load balancers
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and AIX, including how to resolve problems and optimize performance
