Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a pristine and inviting atmosphere at Minnesuing Acres. The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is vital in enhancing guest satisfaction and creating a home-like experience for visitors. This hands-on position involves leading, training, and scheduling the housekeeping staff to guarantee that guest accommodations and communal areas are impeccably maintained, along with overseeing efficient laundry operations.

This is a full-time role, requiring an average commitment of 30-40 hours per week, including availability during weekends and holidays as necessary. Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and guide the housekeeping staff
  • Create and manage team schedules and task lists
  • Procure supplies for the department and guest room amenities
  • Conduct interviews and annual performance evaluations
  • Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas
  • Ensure conference room setups meet group requirements
  • Oversee laundry operations to maintain efficiency
  • Participate in deep cleaning initiatives as required
  • Coordinate cleaning for specific facilities as needed
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Support other departments as necessary
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills and a collaborative team spirit
  • Demonstrated responsibility, integrity, and a positive demeanor
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and reliability skills
  • Able to multitask effectively
  • Capacity to work cooperatively and efficiently within a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
