About the RoleAs a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing evaluations and developing treatment plans to help children achieve their full potential
- Regularly reassessing the effectiveness of treatment plans and attending staffing meetings and family conferences
- Providing discharge evaluations and making recommendations for home and community safety
- Communicating with the treatment team, physician, and family members to ensure seamless care
- Collaborating with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- A current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where you will be practicing
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to lift 50 pounds and perform other physical demands of the job
