Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Isle Preschool. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum.
  • Develop and implement literacy-based and structured lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive space for students to explore, learn, and grow.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and some experience working with children.
  • 12 Units in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
