Job Description

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Isle Preschool. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a literacy-based curriculum that is structured yet flexible, allowing for creativity and intentional decision-making.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build relationships with families, school administration, and the community.
  • Ensure instructional decisions are based on students' interests and needs.
  • Perform daily classroom operations, including maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements.
  • Must have one of the following:
    • 12 Units in Early Childhood Education
    • High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with children.
