Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water and Wastewater Project Engineer to join our New England Water team. The successful candidate will have technical expertise in environmental engineering and an in-depth understanding of sewer collection systems and pump station design. Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and preparing design documents, engineering reports, and contract documents is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating work and junior engineers
  • Developing and monitoring project schedules and budgets
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills to keep project managers updated on issues and work progress
  • Leading design or portions of design
  • Working with discipline teams and subcontractors
  • Coordinating construction administration, including submittal reviews and contractor payment applications
  • Providing guidance on design drawing production and making decisions on engineering problems and methods
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting project needs in a professional, reliable, and organized manner
  • Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments and reviewing technical work
  • Interacting with clients and representing the firm in a professional manner
  • Spending time in the field or on construction projects, as applicable
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of engineering experience
  • B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain a Massachusetts P.E. license within one year
