Role Summary: As a Credit Assistant, you will be instrumental in aiding loan clients and lenders with the administrative tasks and maintenance of commercial and TRID-related consumer loans. Your attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and capacity to perform under pressure will be vital to your success.

Key Duties:

  • Work with lenders to evaluate loan approvals and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Oversee credit files and maintain precise records.
  • Facilitate loan closings and process necessary paperwork.
  • Support business development initiatives for lending officers.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Engage with Loan Officers and clients to streamline loan processing and closing.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A high level of detail orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative team player with knowledge of banking regulations and loan processing.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in loan processing for real estate and commercial loans preferred.
