Position Summary

This role is for a Registered Nurse with a focus on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing essential care for vulnerable newborns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver thorough care to critically ill and premature infants in a continuous care setting.
  • Attend to fundamental infant requirements, including feeding and diaper changes.
  • Perform medical tasks such as IV insertions, diagnostic tests, and administering medications.
  • Support NICU physicians during various treatments and medical procedures.
  • Manage and calibrate specialized medical devices.
  • Create and evaluate nursing care plans tailored for infants.
  • Provide emotional support to infants and their families.
  • Guide parents on proper newborn care practices.
Essential Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nursing license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICU or NICU setting.
  • Certification in CPR.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of NICU equipment.
  • A collaborative team member capable of providing comfort to newborns.
Required Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
