Key Responsibilities- Deliver thorough care to critically ill and premature infants in a continuous care setting.
- Attend to fundamental infant requirements, including feeding and diaper changes.
- Perform medical tasks such as IV insertions, diagnostic tests, and administering medications.
- Support NICU physicians during various treatments and medical procedures.
- Manage and calibrate specialized medical devices.
- Create and evaluate nursing care plans tailored for infants.
- Provide emotional support to infants and their families.
- Guide parents on proper newborn care practices.
- Current Registered Nursing license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICU or NICU setting.
- Certification in CPR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of NICU equipment.
- A collaborative team member capable of providing comfort to newborns.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
