We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team at Apex Systems. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the installation of commercial electronic security systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and terminate low-voltage cabling, including CAT 5/6, coaxial, and fiber optic cables.
  • Pull and route cabling through commercial and industrial settings.
  • Install support structures and terminate cable and distribution frames.
  • Troubleshoot cable infrastructure and identify issues.
  • Assist lead technicians in installations and maintenance of integrated systems.
  • Mount and terminate field devices, including readers, door contacts, and cameras.
  • Follow job and manufacturer's schematic wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation procedures.
  • Complete and process required documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of experience in electronic security installation.
  • Technical, electrical, and/or mechanical knowledge and abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
