The Sales Consultant plays a pivotal role in building long-term relationships with customers, providing personalized solutions to meet their unique needs. This entrepreneurial and customer-centric individual accompanies customers throughout their journey, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and engage with customers, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain existing customer relationships, generate leads, and drive successful contract closures.
- Showcase vehicles, explaining features and warranties to customers, and offering tailored consultation on configuration and financing options.
- Provide expert guidance on vehicles, financing, and the purchase process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Negotiate prices and trade-in values, collaborating with the finance department to determine optimal financing and ownership options.
- Regularly contact past customers to ensure satisfaction with their vehicles.
- Self-confidence and persuasiveness.
- Analytical skills, with a focus on target-driven and business-oriented approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
- Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Business and sales experience in the premium and luxury sector.
- Required: 5-7 years of luxury automotive experience.
- Experience with Cox Auto Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and walk-around video creation is encouraged.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
