About the Role

We are currently seeking a Safety Clerk to join our Phoenix, AZ team. This full-time, onsite position plays a vital role in supporting the Operations and Safety departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, reconciling, typing, filing, scheduling, supply management, and orientation training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Assist in day-to-day tasks and projects, including research, data entry, administrative support, and assisting with specific initiatives.
  • Employee Training and Development: Enter and maintain employee training data, client reporting instructions, organize crew rosters, and assist with developing weekly, monthly, and annual training reports.
  • Safety Program Management: Maintain safety program document library, communicate safety messages across the company, and collect and organize employee records to ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Leadership and Compliance: Understand and promote The Capacity Model and additional safety initiatives, inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of departmental activities, facilitate safety trainings as required, and communicate clearly and effectively with employees, supervisory personnel, state and local officials, consultants, and sub-contractors.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Confidentiality: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, effective leadership qualities, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Multi-Tasking and Adaptability: Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education/Experience: High School Degree or GED is required, 1-2 years of administrative experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are recommended.
