Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to fill the role of Tier 2 IT Tech at Mendoza Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our networking platform, troubleshooting network and system issues, and monitoring active network and server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's network systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and system issues, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and analyze network and server infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on network equipment, ensuring uptime and minimizing downtime.
  • Administer network security measures, protecting against system interruptions and breaches.
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures, ensuring business continuity.
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Provide remote and onsite support to end-users, resolving technical issues and improving user experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a network or IT technician, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP and network protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support to clients in the Mission, McAllen, and Edinburg areas. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
