Commercial Electrical Project Manager

Manor Electric, a leading electrical contractor in the Twin Cities area, is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical project management, with a focus on commercial and residential projects. They will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team, office staff, field personnel, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize schedules, place material orders, and address needs on job sites daily.
  • Monitor profitability and costs associated with all jobs.
  • Review contracts and estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Document all project-related activities, including new quotes, change orders, purchase orders, scheduling, bid plans, and closeout documents.
  • Negotiate pricing with wholesale houses and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Streamline projects, assist, and keep projects on schedule, ensuring job safety at all times.

Requirements:

  • Two-year technical associate degree in the electrical field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions and operations.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in commercial, residential, and EV electrical applications.
  • Valid MN Driver's License.
  • Software experience in Auto Desk, Blue Beam, McCormick, and Microsoft programs preferred.
