Job Title: Adjunct Professor of Business

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Business to join our team at Oklahoma City Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to teach a variety of courses related to the field.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach construction-related courses, including Construction Fundamentals, Blueprint Reading, Estimating, and Building Systems
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in construction management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
  • 3 years of experience as a Construction Manager, Construction Project Manager, Project Engineer, Foreman, or a related construction industry experience
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Experience teaching construction-related courses
  • Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other construction industry technologies
