Job Summary

We are seeking an Adjunct Professor of Business/Economics to join our team at Oklahoma City Community College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the primary responsibility of instruction, as well as supporting the integrity of curricula, encouraging student success, and promoting the mission of the division to which you belong.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in economics, including Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, and Statistics for Business and Economics.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Support the College's vision, mission, goals, and priorities.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Economics or a related field with 18 graduate hours in business economics.
  • Demonstrated positive human relations and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Flexible teaching style to accommodate individual learning styles.
  • Committed to helping students achieve their goals and attain a college education.

Work Environment

This position may require teaching at high schools as concurrent enrollment demands it. The work environment is indoors and outdoors.
