Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Business to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As an Adjunct Professor, you will have the primary responsibility of instruction, as well as supporting the integrity of curricula, encouraging student success, and promoting the mission of the division to which you belong.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in business, including Introduction to Business, Business Communications, Business Ethics, and more.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in business education.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in the general business field.
  • Demonstrated positive human relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend classes as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Knowledge of competency-based instructional systems.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
