Clinical Charge Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Charge Nurse to join our team at Health First Home Care. As a Clinical Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of acute care experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or home health setting.
- Current State of Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance coverage.
- A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
This role requires:
- Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
- Traveling to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter, with occasional use of personal vehicle.
- Exposure to inside and outside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting, and noise levels.
- Working with biohazards, such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles, following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
