We are seeking a skilled Central Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our team at Lovelace Medical Center. This is a full-time, night shift position that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Document EKG rhythms, measurements, and changes in patient records
- Maintain constant communication with primary RN and articulate wave patterns using medical terminology
- Troubleshoot lead wire issues, electrode and battery changes, and proper lead placement to ensure optimal rhythm configuration on the telemetry monitor
- Maintain and clean equipment and supplies
- Notify BioMed of equipment malfunctions and problems
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Strong medical terminology skills
- Excellent communication and technical skills
