ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for streamlining strategic initiatives, managing priorities, and acting as a trusted sounding board and thought partner.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a brilliant executive in a challenging and rewarding role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expertly prioritize CEO's time – limit distractions, and keep CEO on track
- Monitor CEO's inbox and respond to communications with a sense of urgency & discretion
- Mindfully manage the CEO's calendar to best optimize his time
- Coordinate travel and prepare itineraries
- Interrupt meetings as needed to keep CEO on schedule
- Implement new processes and tools to support CEO's time management & focus
- Attend meetings and calls to ensure execution of action-items & follow ups
- Assist with various tasks and projects, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience working for a tech startup or a high-growth company highly preferred
- Background in education and/or teaching a plus
- Confidence to manage up and challenge CEO when appropriate
- High intellectual horsepower and propensity to consistently raise the bar
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to respond as CEO
- High EQ and knack for reading the room
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
- Results-driven work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Flexible personality, able to shift and adjust based on the situation
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Notion/Airtable a plus
LOCATION: New York City – SoHo (Onsite)
COMPENSATION: $130k – 170k base salary + equity + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
