As a vital member of our team at Proman Staffing, you will be responsible for operating various powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers. Your role will involve the efficient movement of products, equipment, and materials within the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to effectively push, pull, lift, stack, or relocate products and materials.
- Employ a handheld scanner with precision to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers as required.
- Maintain adherence to the 7S program, ensuring a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to process excellence and operational efficiency.
- Understand and implement the Supply Chain quality policy in daily tasks.
- Carry out inbound receiving processes accurately and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
- Certification and training in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime as needed.
This position requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift over 75 lbs.
- Handle objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
- Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as necessary.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Utilize hands and fingers to manipulate tools or equipment.
- Adapt to varying warehouse temperatures, both hot and cold.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both leadership and colleagues.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
