Job Summary:

X-Bow Systems is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Design: Develop and implement project plans, including design specifications and engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Site Assessment and Survey: Conduct site assessments and surveys to collect necessary data for design and construction purposes.
  • Project Analysis: Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all civil engineering projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
  • Project Management: Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on CAD.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Soft Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
