Position: Chief of Staff

Location: South Texas or New Mexico

About X-Bow Systems: X-Bow Systems is a cutting-edge company in the defense sector, specializing in solid rocket motors. We are committed to innovation and excellence, and we are looking for a dynamic Chief of Staff to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Organizational Management: Oversee and manage large groups and multiple levels of SMEs, strategic thinkers, business managers, and technical experts.

· Project Execution: Perform complex projects and tasks independently with minimal supervision, staff, or guidance.

· Administrative Functions: Execute a range of administrative and logistical functions on a day-to-day basis.

· Material Synthesis: Synthesize materials and inputs from multiple technical and management levels.

· Activity Tracking: Manage and track a range of activities across both tactical and strategic levels.

· Professional Engagement: Engage and interact professionally with Board-level members, executive management, and engineering technical staff.

· Travel: Travel with little to no notice (25-50%).

· Policy Development: Build and institute functions, policies, and processes with minimal guidance.

· Budget Management: Develop, execute, and track budgets and spending with consultants, suppliers, and outside organizations for complex projects.


Qualifications:

· Proven ability to manage large groups and diverse teams.

· Strategic thinker with strong business management and technical expertise.

· Exceptional organizational and project management skills; proficient in synthesizing complex materials and inputs.

· Experience within the Aerospace, Defense, Government space is highly preferred

· Capable of juggling multiple activities at both tactical and strategic levels.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to travel frequently and at short notice.

· Experience in developing and instituting policies and processes.

· Strong budget management skills.

Must be local to Texas or NM for consideration
