We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. As an Acute Care OT Per Diem, you will provide therapy services to a variety of patient populations in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Complete OT documentation in the medical record and manage OT caseload with efficiency and efficacy.
- Manage resources needed to perform OT treatment plans and provide regular communication with physicians, supervisor, and others regarding OT programs and patients served.
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff, and select and perform appropriate Occupational Therapy evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems.
- Set treatment goals and devise a treatment plan, and re-evaluate and adjust the treatment plan in response to the patient's changing condition and discharge plans.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
- No prior experience required.
