The Senior Director of Development, International Advancement will play a key role in establishing and executing a pipeline strategy for international and globally engaged alumni, driving growth in advancement for the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership to establish and execute a pipeline strategy from monthly and annual giving to principal giving.
- Collaborate with the Office of Kelley Global and the Office of Development and Engagement to build on prior progress and globalize advancement at the Kelley School of Business.
- Support the Executive Director of Kelley Global and their portfolio through writing proposals and moves management.
- Cultivate relationships with international Kelley alumni and donors to steward and cultivate them toward overall university goals.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts to fund the school's fundraising priorities.
- Plan and participate in solicitation efforts for major, planned, and/or principal gifts from alumni, parents, friends, and other constituents and supporters of the university.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 8 years of experience in outreach, engagement, public relations, or a related field.
- Proficient communication skills and ability to represent the company with external constituents.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism and demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty.
