About the Job

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Division of Endodontics at the University of Minnesota. As a faculty member, you will play a key role in providing clinical supervision and didactic instruction for Endodontic residents, as well as instruction of predoctoral students in the clinic or preclinic as assigned by the Division Director.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with experience in teaching and scholarly work. You will be expected to serve on School of Dentistry committees, participate in School governance, and collaborate with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students to provide a positive environment and continue the momentum of growth and excellence in the Division of Endodontics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and didactic instruction for Endodontic residents
  • Teach predoctoral students in the clinic or preclinic as assigned by the Division Director
  • Serve on School of Dentistry committees and participate in School governance
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to provide a positive environment and promote growth and excellence in the Division of Endodontics
Qualifications
  • DDS/DMD degree or recognized international equivalent
  • Current Minnesota Dental License or ability to obtain one prior to start date
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Endodontics
  • Eligibility for board certification by the American Board of Endodontics
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States by start of position
  • Research experience for tenured or tenure-track applicants
  • Proven dedication to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment
